Flats - Water Leaks
If a leak is penetrating through your ceiling from the flat above you have to advise the owner of the above flat immediately. You must also inform the Managing Agents who will notify the owner by letter that they must immediately check all visual areas and arrange for a professional plumber to carry out any necessary repairs which will be at their own expense. Following the repairs they must contact us to confirm that the work has been completed on 01992 801048 or alternatively the site office on 01992 769143.
Any works carried out to rectify and make good redecoration of the interior of the flat which experienced damage from the leak can be claimed on the buildings insurance, claim form obtained from our Insurance Department of Vita.
Finally, if we need to get into your flat to sort out a problem in your flat which is causing damage in someone else's flat PLEASE CO-OPERATE
Under the terms of your Lease and Block Building Insurance policy, you have a duty to prevent loss or damage. Failure to do so may make you personally liable for all costs incurred by the Management Company.
