| Tony moved to the Island early in 2001 and has been a director of the residents' association since 2003. In addition to playing a part as needed in the 'bread and butter' role of the residents' association, such as scrutinising the finances, making sure the managing agents do the job they are paid for, his main interest is to promote efforts that will help the development of Enfield Island Village as a community, rather than just a motley collection of isolated individuals and families. |

| I have lived on the Island for 5 years. I am very interested in community regeneration and safety on the Island. I feel that we can make 'a difference' if we all work together to build a sustainable and safe environment. The Island is ideally situated close to good transport links, local schools and businesses, but we need to work together to ensure that the area is well maintained, rubbish and waste removed on time and street lighting improved. |

| Along with my wife we purchased a property on the Island at the beginning of 2005. Whilst this is rented out we always take a proactive interest in our properties and instil in all our tenants that they should take as much pride in not only the place they are living but their immediate surroundings as well. The Island suffers the same kind of challenges that effects any other housing area but has a considerable number of advantages that helps make it unique and one of the reasons why we all invest in it. Hopefully in a small way along with my fellow Directors we can ensure the advantages always outweigh the negatives |
